Ubisoft gaat de multiplayer en online diensten van 15 games stoppen vanaf 1 september 2022, waaronder vijf Assassin's Creed games, Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, en meer.
Voor games als Assassin's Creed 3 en Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, betekent dit dat het installeren van DLC niet meer beschikbaar zal zijn vanaf die datum.
«Als we de online diensten van wat oudere games stoppen, kunnen we meer focussen op goede ervaringen voor toekomstige titels», schreef Ubisoft op hun support pagina.
