Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown's boss fights are colossal, elaborate, and memorable, but they have a fatal flaw: once they're done and dusted, they're gone for good unless you want to start a new adventure. "Boss Attack," the second free update for The Lost Crown, changes that by adding two new challenges to Artaban's menu of training programs in The Haven: "Boss Revenge" and "Boss Rush."
If you want to tackle a specific boss, Boss Revenge will let you challenge any of the game's previously beaten bosses on any difficulty, complete with statistics boards to track your attempts. While you'll enter these fights with pre-set health, weapon upgrades, and abilities, you'll be able to use your current amulets and Athra Surges - and if you're feeling really confident, you can attempt No Hit difficulty, which is equivalent to Warrior difficulty but counts one hit as an instant loss.
If you'd rather tackle a bigger challenge, Boss Rush will let you run through all eight bosses in a row after completing the main story, with breaks in between to change your equipped amulets and Athra surges - but not to replenish your potions, arrows, Athra gauge, or health. Completing Boss Rush can earn you two new outfits for Sargon: one is based on the Prince's look from the 2008 Prince of Persia, and is a reward for finishing Boss Rush on any difficulty. To claim the second one, you'll need to finish Boss Rush on No Hit difficulty.
The update also adds a new way to fast-travel across Mount Qaf using Wak-wak trees, and improves the readability of yellow and red attacks in high-contrast mode.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is available now on Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store), and
