MY.GAMES mobile game Rush Royale has been downloaded over 50 million times since its launch in 2020, making it the #1 game in the Tower Defense Strategy genre by the number of installations, according to data.ai (formerly AppAnnie).
Rush Royale was created by the in-house team IT Territory, offering players constant content updates and innovative in-game mechanics. Rush Royale also became the company’s second highest-performing game by revenue in 2022, earning $102 mln, which is a 76% growth YoY.
Rush Royale, a strategy tower defense game that boasts elements of a collectible card game, has enjoyed steady growth since its release at the end of 2020. The past two years have seen the team significantly improve its monetization techniques, successfully combining gameplay with various profit opportunities for players. At its recent New Year’s event, these efforts helped contribute to Rush Royale setting a new record for daily revenue after bringing in more than $1 mln on its launch day.
In February 2023, the team will introduce major content and technical updates to the game, which will include the introduction of new heroes and talents for legendary pawns, as well as balance changes to pawns and a revised game items system.
