When I first joined, I was a little concerned. Our team is spread across different countries and time zones, so I wondered if communication would be a challenge. But Wargaming has very clear processes that make collaboration smooth and efficient. For example, we have regular sync meetings every two weeks to align on design direction, production priorities, and schedules. If something urgent comes up in between, we’re free to send a message or jump on a quick call—there’s no need to wait for a formal meeting.
What really makes a difference is how open and inclusive the team is. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re located—everyone listens and welcomes new ideas. Because our team is so diverse, we get a lot of different perspectives in discussions, and Wargaming truly values that diversity.

One thing I really appreciate about Wargaming is how proactive our leads are in supporting career development. My lead regularly arranges one-on-one sessions with me, not just to discuss project progress or tasks, but also to understand my long-term career goals and development plans. He listens to where I want to go in my career and gives me practical advice. Based on my interests and ambitions, he even adjusts my assignments to help me grow in the areas I care about.
When I first joined the team, I wasn’t sure whether I should focus more on deepening my technical skills or on refining my artistic style. My lead provided helpful suggestions and recommended learning resources and courses to support me.
Since we’re an international team, he’s also very mindful of different cultural backgrounds and communication styles. He makes sure everyone has a chance to express their ideas and discuss their personal development.
