Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era Demo Available Now - 30th Anniversary Celebration Recap

A free Steam demo is now available for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, as announced during the Heroes of Might and Magic 30^th Anniversary Celebration. The demo features four playable factions, including the new Schism faction, as well as a tutorial and three game modes. With multiple map templates to explore and an arena mode for a quick combat session, there is plenty of adventuring to be had and no playtime limit in the demo. Wishlist Olden Era on Steam and you'll be notified when it enters Early Access in 2026.

The Celebration also included a host of announcements, features, and guest appearances from projects and people throughout the HOMM community. From the 30^th Anniversary Retrospective book and the Legacy of Heroes documentary, to community artwork, tournaments, and concerts, there were games aplenty (board, card, tabletop!) and lots of warm nostalgic vibes for the beloved series.
